Hello!
Hope all had a nice Valentine's day.
I know I am a little late, but here are some Valentine's things. Better late than never, right?
The little mice we made for Brenda's class. We got the idea from here. Cute, but we had to make 37 of them. Brenda wanted to give them to her classmates and some teachers.
I don't have a lot of Valentine's decorations. here are a few of them.
The roses I got from my husband.
The bears I got at Hallmark years ago. They have a magnet inside their faces, so when they kiss they stick together. When kissing, their cheeks used to blush, but not anymore. So, I just sat the little guys on the little red chair. Kind of boring, I guess. Today Brenda did this with them.
So cute, specially with the little cross stitch pillow. I think this will be my new way to display them now :)
I made this heart last year. I think I never posted it.
I also made this felt heart. This year I had plans to make more things, but all I was able to make was this Lizzie Kate ornament.
I finished it flat and trimmed with pink rickrack. I changed the colors a little bit to make it more "valentiny". For the back I used the pink and red fabric on this picture.
Let's see if I can finish the other months this year :) I am working on other things now.
I started this crochet blanket to use my left over yarn... I am just over halfway and already had to buy more of most of the colors... not exactly how I had planed. Now I am stuck because I can't find one of the greens. I guess I will have to order online.
Crochet is fun, but it's not easy for me... but I will keep trying. I will post a picture when I finish it.
That's all for now, have a good weekend!
Ana Paula.

Fairy Garden
Hello!
Long time since my last post. Time goes fast.
I am working on some things that hopefully I will share soon.
Today I will share the fairy garden we made last weekend.
We started with an old barbecue grill that we "rescued" from the alley behind our apartment. We had a fairy garden before, but it never worked out very well. I think this time, we got it!
A cute fairy house. I love it!
A ladybug tire swing for fairies, the cutest thing.
A welcome sign.
And a birdhouse. We got all pieces at Joann's. We put the house over a base of little rocks, so it will get less moisture from the dirt. The rocks are from Ikea.
One of the problems we had before with fairy gardens, was the plants growing too fast. This time, we chose succulents. I think with these kind of plants, we will be able to control and keep the garden easier. I still want to plant something behind the house, not sure what.
We are very happy with our little garden. Hopefully the donkey's tail and the green pearls will grow well and fall on the sides.
Now we are just waiting for a little fairy to move in :)
Have a wonderful day!
